INTO ETERNITY To Perform Entire 'The Scattering Of Ashes' Album During Hometown Gig

September 9, 2010

Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada-based extreme progressive metallers INTO ETERNITY will perform their 2006 album, "The Scattering Of Ashes", in its entirety on September 22 during a show in the band's hometown. This will mark the group's only appearance of 2010. Advance tickets for the gig will be available tomorrow (Friday, September 10) at Vintage Vinyl, Madame Yes, Zeus and online at Ticketedge.ca.

INTO ETERNITY has been demoing material for its sixth album, to be released sometime in 2011. According to founding guitarist/principal songwriter Tim Roth, "This week we demoed a new song with a real catchy chorus. It's called, 'Devoured By Sarcopenia'." He added, "I can promise that this new song is going to be killer."

INTO ETERNITY's "Time Immemorial" video, which features vocalist Stu Block in a prominent role, was filmed in Montreal in August 2008, just before the group embarked on the Summer Slaughter Canada tour. That trek was followed by a run alongside the legendary ICED EARTH, which capped off a year that also saw the band tour with SYMPHONY X, AT THE GATES and THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, among others. The track appears on the group's concept album, "The Incurable Tragedy", which sold 1,900 copies in the United States in its first week of release.
